CAMPO VERDE HIGH SCHOOL BAND
Campo Verde High School - Home of the Coyotes Concert, Performance and Jazz Bands
The Campo Verde Band Program provides for outstanding musical education and experiences to CVHS 
student musicians. It encompasses the Marching Band, Concert Band, and Jazz Band. The staff and Booster Club also encourage extracurricular musical activities and events above and beyond the traditional high school music programs offered through the GPS District.
Campo Verde is building a comprehensive musical education and fine arts program. We have set our goals to establish a tradition of musical and academic excellence both on and off campus. The marching, concert, and jazz bands are well on their way and this is your opportunity to be a part of a new and exciting program.
Campo Verde will continue to extend the tradition of music excellence in the school setting. Students will participate in traditional Arizona band and music
festivals and compete in ranked competitions. Students will also be provided the opportunity to express themselves through contemporary music and original composition.
Students will bring contemporary music, composition, poetry, performance and visual art to the fore of our student body and community. Our motto will be "to push the envelope, break the mold, enjoy the art and revel in the enigmatic spirit and soul that is and forever shall define the experience that is music."

CVHS Concert Band - The Concert Band is the centerpiece of the High School Band p
rogram. The students will spend their time learning inividual technique and improving on their personal contribution to the overall sound of the full concert experience. The program will include innovative classroom teaching style and take avantage of cutting edge educational software that will assit the students in maximu=izing their potential and the potential of the band as a collective.

CVHS Marching Band - The Marching Band is
formed and in it's second year! We are working toward establishing and building on the first year to produce a full Marching Band experience for the students and audience. The routines, expression and music selected for performances will be exciting and fun to produce. They will also help the students to hone their skills at playing their instruments in motion and get them ready for the big sound of a full marching band. CVHS Jazz Band - The Jazz program is a specialized class that is 
taught as part of the curriculum. It is intended as an extension to concert band. In the tradition of jazz, it will allow those students who participate the opportunity to explore jazz style and composition while enjoying their instruments and each other in a more intimate and stylized format. Jazz is a standard in the development of a young musician. The progressions and melodies that they will learn will expand their own experience and provide a broad and deep platform from which to launch down their own artistic path.
